Hey, I’m Alyssa! I’m from Acton, Massachusetts, a small town about an hour outside Boston. I’m a Public Health and Spanish double major with an interest in environmental health, which is why I’m minoring in GECS. Outside of class, I’m an editor for the Johns Hopkins News-Letter and I do research with the Hopkins Early Neurodevelopment Lab at the med campus. I also work at the Baltimore Chef Shop in Hampden (it’s a couple doors down from the Charmery!) I love exploring all the different neighborhoods in Baltimore, trying out new restaurants and going to some of the awesome festivals and events.
