What’s something that surprised you about Hopkins?
I was surprised by how quickly you can find people who share your interests and get involved in activities that really define your experience for the next four years.
What’s a piece of advice that you would give to an incoming student?
The more time I spend here, the more I find that your success at this school has a lot to do with how well you manage your time. So budget it wisely.
What’s your favorite thing about this school?
Getting the chance to meet and become friends with really dynamic people while simultaneously receiving a top-notch education.
What do you do when you’re not studying?
When I’m not studying, you can find me rehearsing or hanging out with the AllNighters, a cappella group I joined at the beginning of the year. Over the past two semesters, they’ve all become like brothers to me and joining has been the best decision I’ve made since coming to Hopkins.
What puts a smile on your face?
Playing games with my friends and singing with the AllNighters. But, most of all, seeing my dog Cody when I come home for breaks.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Chicken tenders from Levering.
Why did you come to Hopkins?
I came to Hopkins because I thought it would be the best place to pursue my ambitions of becoming a scientific researcher. Growing up so close to the school, I was always in awe of this incredible university sitting in my backyard, so I’ve dreamed of being a student here since I was a kid.
