What do you want to be when you grow up?

Ideally, I would be some sort of musician or artist. That would be the dream, but I would also enjoy being an engineer/inventor in the area of Robotics. Or somehow incorporate music and engineering together.

What’s your biggest struggle right now?

I participate in a lot of different activities on campus such as a capella, track and field and residential life and managing these can get pretty busy on a day to day basis managing all the activities and getting some sleep at night.

Where’s the coolest place you’ve ever been?

Recently I went abroad for the summer to do research and got to visit the amazing Phi Phi Islands in Thailand.

What’s something interesting you learned in class?

How to make an autonomous dancing robot! Easily one of the coolest projects ever.

What’s a piece of advice that you would give to an incoming student?

Don’t be afraid to try new and different activities from what you did in high school. College is a totally new place where you can find some things that you might not have ever thought you’d be interested in. And if there is already something you’re passionate about that isn’t already a club here you can make it one.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Video games and comic books. I’m actually a giant geek…

What’s your favorite memory since you’ve been at Hopkins?

Freshman Year competing in the international championship of collegiate a capella for quarter finals while on crutches and winning!
