To support safety and public health during the Covid-19 pandemic, all on-campus events are canceled until further notice.
  1. The first Friday night my best friends, Erika and Nita, and I hung out. On our way back from a party, we went to Insomnia Cookies and then headed towards the beach where we laid down a towel and just sat and talked and watched the cars and the sky and enjoyed each other’s company.
  2. My interview to be a part of Hopkins Interactive. It was on the second or third day of orientation and it took me forever to find the building and room of the interview. I was pretty nervous because I really wanted to be a part of the team, but as soon as the interview started, all my nerves calmed down because everyone was so nice and I felt like I had found my people.
  3. Creating an L board with my friends in my room, because what better way to deal with your L’s than to laugh and celebrate them?
  4. Listening to the High School Musical soundtrack with Erika the first month of school every time we were both in the room. It really brought us closer together. (Writing this is really making me want to listen to High School Musical some more right now! You can safely assume that the rest of this list will be written under the influence of listening to Troy and Gabriela sing their hearts out.)
  5. Realizing that the Brody Learning Commons and the Milton S. Eisenhower Library are connected.
  6. Transforming Erika’s side of our room into a mini movie theater and binge watching horror movies.
  7. Passing Intro Chem 1 with a B-.
  8. Getting a snow day on the day of my Intro Java exam, resulting in the exam being cancelled entirely.
  9. Creating my final portfolio for my Intro Fiction/Poetry class.
  10. Going to Towson Mall with my friends to retail therapy the stress of school away.
  11. The Lighting of the Quads ceremony at the very end of the semester, where some random guy was giving out sparklers to everyone and I took three.
