What do you want to be when you grow up?
I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. I’m trying to work in a different industry every summer of college, with hopes of figuring it out before I graduate.
What’s something interesting you learned in class?
There is absolutely no set grading scale.
What’s a piece of advice that you would give to an incoming student?
There is such a fear of failing at Hopkins, and I think sometimes it gets blow out of proportion. Try a class you never imagined passing, and then let yourself be amazed by how capable you are.
What’s your favorite thing about this school?
I love the people here. Everyone is so interesting and self-motivated. I’m always impressed by what students did before coming to Hopkins, as well as the amazing things they do here!
Why did you come to Hopkins?
I applied to Hopkins as an IS major extremely interested in the SAIS program; somehow I ended up in the school of engineering. I think it’s really cool that no matter what you study here, we will have an exceptional program.
