Having been at Hopkins for a month, I have begun to immerse myself in many traditions. Staying up late studying in Brody Learning Commons, posting to the meme page, and venturing out into the Inner Harbor are only some of them. However, the first major event that I attended was Hoptoberfest, our yearly fall celebration here at Hopkins. It is a week-long event that culminates in an outdoor festival on the beach with live performers, food trucks, and free t-shirts!

Cute dog who is clearly a Cheat Codes fan.

This year, a band called Cheat Codes came to perform along with an up and coming performer named Cade. They performed a few of their songs, and some renditions of popular ones. It was nice to listen to cool music with part of the Hopkins community. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the events to come!
