What about being a Hopkins student do you miss the most?

Having all my friends live within two blocks.

Knowing what you know now, what would you want to tell your pre-college self?

Don’t stay up all night for work, don’t ignore social events to do work you can push off. Immediately after your last grade comes in, all that matters are the memories you made with your friends. GET OUT OF THE LIBRARY 🙂

How do you feel Hopkins prepared you for where you are now?

Very well, I feel more efficient than other new hires and like I have a comparative long endurance.

How did going to school in Baltimore affect your college experience?

Baltimore was so different from my hometown in every possible way. It exposed me to a broader swath of the population and the issues they face. It also forced me out of my comfort zone numerous times and provided an amazing respite from school-related stress.

Who was your favorite professor/what was your favorite class and why?

Lester Spence – fav professor because he was an amazing lecture who was always willing to take a tangent as far as possible if it served the curiosity of the class.

Visual Rhetoric – fav class because it was a creative type of work totally unlike any other class. A nice break from papers and readings
