To support safety and public health during the Covid-19 pandemic, all on-campus events are canceled until further notice.

When I was applying to Hopkins, my year’s Hopkins’s supplemental essay was the following:

“Johns Hopkins University was founded in 1876 on a spirit of exploration and discovery. As a result, students can pursue a multi-dimensional undergraduate experience both in and outside of the classroom. Given the opportunities at Hopkins, please discuss your current interests (academic, extracurricular, personal passions, summer experiences, etc.) and how you will build upon them here.”

Immediately, you get a sense that this is like a “Why Hopkins?” question. With this in mind, I wrote my essay about what I wanted to do, what I wanted to get involved in, and why Hopkins was the perfect place (because of its plentiful opportunities).

Now, after I finished my junior year and am a rising senior, I wanted to take a trip down memory lane, read through some of my supplemental essay, and react/see how far I’ve come!
