How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? I discovered Hopkins via a couple of students at my high school who had got scholarships there. I looked up the school and found out that it was a very good school, which gives scholarships and grants.
Is there a quote or motto that inspires you? What is it and what does it mean to you? “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. I’m a Christian, so this motto, the motto of my favorite soccer team, Liverpool Football Club, reminds me that there’s always someone I can talk to, whatever trouble I’m in: My God.
How has your family background or life experiences shaped you? My family background has made me into a calm, careful person. My life experiences (notably in high school) have formed me into a tough person who recognizes his musical talent and applies it to serve his immediate community.
What’s your best piece of college search advice for high school students? Make sure you find the best-fitting campus for you. Your four years in college depend on it.
