How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? Online, and campus tour. I decided to apply Early Decision because I have always wanted to go to the east coast, and the campus is beautiful.
Who is the most influential person in your life? My mom.
If you could teach one class at Hopkins, what would it be? (already exists or invented by you!) History of the Automobile.
Is there a quote or motto that inspires you? What is it and what does it mean to you? “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself” – FDR. To me, this quote means that we should never let out weaknesses bring us down.
How has your family background or life experiences shaped you? It taught me to study hard, make good decisions, and be a good friend.
What’s your best piece of college search advice for high school students? Apply for your reach schools, you never know what’s gonna happen.
What fictional character (Hermione Granger, Holden Caulfield, etc.) do you most relate to or most closely represents you as a person? I’ve been told I look like Carl from Jimmy Neutron, so him I guess.
What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? Making it to FIRST Robotics worlds as a rookie team.
What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? Meeting new people
What book, album/song, or TV show has had a profound influence on your life? Appetite for Destruction – Guns n Roses
What crazy invention would you love to design? A 3D printed human heart.
What do you hope to get involved in on campus? Helping to organize Spring Fair.
