How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? I discovered Hopkins through the recruiting process when I began looking into schools with high academics that I could play field hockey at as well. I applied Early Decision because I was sure that Hopkins was where I wanted to spend my next 4 years!
How has your family background or life experiences shaped you? Traveling to China profoundly changed my life, being immersed in another culture has opened my eyes to the beauty of the world and has really pushed me further towards studying political science.
What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? I am excited to be surrounded by people who are as enthusiastic to learn and be a part of something. The passion that people have for everything they do for Hopkins is incredible.
What book, album/song, or TV show has had a profound influence on your life? To Kill A Mockingbird
What do you hope to get involved in on campus? I am really passionate about community service, so I plan on taking part of many of the organizations on campus that seek to help those in need.
