How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? I discovered Hopkins through my American Studies College Project. By conducting in-depth research about Hopkins during the project, I realized that Johns Hopkins was the school that best fits my interests. The overnight stay only reconfirmed this.

Who is the most influential person in your life? Novak Djokovic.

If you could teach one class at Hopkins, what would it be? (already exists or invented by you!) Handling your Failures and Success

Is there a quote or motto that inspires you? What is it and what does it mean to you? The motto I relate most to is “Strive for Greatness.” Lebron James refers to this quote on social media time and time again. Through his evolution in the NBA, I realized this phrase is not just about working hard, but also not letting obstacles deter you.

What’s your best piece of college search advice for high school students? You should take your time finding the college that best matches your interests, and it is definitely not a one-day process.

What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? I am most proud of my rebound from my year-long ankle injury in soccer.

What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? I am really excited about the opportunity to research at Hopkins Medical Center. It seemed to be a fantasy for my entire life, but now it might be a reality.

What crazy invention would you love to design? An Iron Man suit.
