How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? I have always heard of Hopkins through textbooks, but my main push was learning of the institution in AP Psychology. Being the first research university in the United States and almost always leading research in neurology (and in medicine) pushed me to fall in love. I was excited to be able to visit and was motivated even further to apply as soon as I could!

Who is the most influential person in your life? My mother!

If you could teach one class at Hopkins, what would it be? (already exists or invented by you!) Something like the Mechanics of Neuroanatomy!

How has your family background or life experiences shaped you? Coming from a rough childhood to being blessed with amazing parents, my life experiences are beyond numerous to be specified! I have the interesting experience of a father from another country (Turkey) and sharing my entire life with my fraternal twin, Jeremy!

What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? Getting into Johns Hopkins!

What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? I am most excited about taking more specified and denser courses and also, having a wonderful community, like Hopkins, to be a part of!
What book, album/song, or TV show has had a profound influence on your life? Oddly enough, my AP Psychology Textbook by David Myers!
What crazy invention would you love to design? A little nanobot that could zoom around the body and check everything and monitor all vitals, etc.!
What do you hope to get involved in on campus? Ooooh, hopefully the TedX program (because I love Ted Talks) and any premed/neuroscience groups!
What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? See snow for the first time (hopefully)!
