How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? I discovered Hopkins through the recruiting process for swimming. I decided to apply Early Decision because as soon as I stepped on campus, Hopkins felt like home, and I knew I wanted to spend the next 4 years living and learning there.
Is there a quote or motto that inspires you? What is it and what does it mean to you? This too shall pass. For me this quote has a dual meaning. Primarily, this quote means that any hardship I may come too in the path of life will pass by, and I will survive it. On the other hand, this quote also forces me to remember that good times pass as well, and to treasure happy moments as if they were diamonds.
What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? An accomplishment that I am very proud of is winning YMCA Nationals for swimming in the 200 breaststroke. Winning Nationals has been my dream since I was 12, and last summer it became a reality.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? (dream big!) I see myself as either a leading resident in a surgery program, hopefully doing clinical research, or as a scientist at the NIH doing dementia research.
What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? Go to the inner harbor lights show! I went the first time I visited and I loved it.
