How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? My mom suggested I go look at Hopkins, so my dad and I went to visit. I instantly felt at home and comfortable, a feeling I never found anywhere else. There was never anywhere else that compared.
Who is the most influential person in your life? My choir director and voice teacher, who has helped me grow my musical gifts and shown me how to be unconditionally kind
If you could teach one class at Hopkins, what would it be? (already exists or invented by you!) Methods of Self-Care
What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? I built and rode an upside down roller coaster for an Odyssey of the Mind project. It suspended me by my feet, which were strapped into disassembled roller blade shoes. It really turned my world upside down!
What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? I get to see a new corner of the world and meet people with vastly different stories.
What do you hope to get involved in on campus? Martial Arts, music groups, community service, and anything else that looks fun
