How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? I first learned about Hopkins and its renowned medical program through friends and family in Taiwan. I had the chance to visit Hopkins briefly in one of my visits to the States and I was quickly captured by quiet ambiance of the campus albeit located in the heart of Baltimore. Ever since, Hopkins was the school that I want to study in. Additionally, I learned about the research opportunities at Hopkins furthering my decision to apply Early Decision.
Who is the most influential person in your life? My grandmother.
What’s your best piece of college search advice for high school students? Always look for something you’re passionate about. Finding the right university is not about looking for the most prestigious schools, it’s about the school that matches your personality and where you’ll be able to create plenty of good memories. Take your time and enjoy the remaining year of your high school life.
What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? Meeting new people.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? (dream big!) A cardiologist.
