How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? I first heard about Hopkins through college counseling sessions held at my school but became more interested after hearing stories of one of my teacher’s experience doing her post-grad there. After doing further research I knew that Hopkins was the right choice for me and that I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to apply Early Decision.
What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? The thing I’m most excited for is starting my own journey. Whether it be meeting new people, going on adventures, trying new things, or adapting to new environments, I’m ready for a change and the freedom that comes with it!!
What do you hope to get involved in on campus? I’ve been doing different types of Indian dance since seventh grade and I have even earned a junior diploma in Kuchipudi Dance (A classical Indian dance form) so I would love to try out for one of the dance teams. I hope to also join any volunteering clubs.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? (dream big!) In ten years I see myself pursuing a surgical residency at one of the many amazing teaching hospitals in the country (maybe even at Johns Hopkins Hospital). I see myself with a big smile helping people, pursuing my passions and living my dreams! I also see myself hopefully becoming a great dancer.
