How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? I discovered Hopkins by researching top medical research schools! I love researching and with Hopkins being a school that valued research, I chose to apply ED there before anything else.

Is there a quote or motto that inspires you? What is it and what does it mean to you? “Do something that scares you everyday.” This quote is so inspirational because it tells me to do something that I don’t want to do or that I’m afraid to do. Every time that I complete “something” that scares me, I feel as though I have grown, in experience, and personality.

What’s your best piece of college search advice for high school students? Start early and don’t just go to a college or university that your parents want you to go to in which you have no interest. Go somewhere YOU want to. Do all the research early so that you are not rushing at the end to do both research and supplements.

What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? Writing a 20+ page research paper over the course of 3 years. It was so much fun but also a lot of work.

What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? I’m most excited for all the opportunities that I can receive from Hopkins and meeting the wonderful community. I’m very excited to meet all the friends that I have made online! Shoutout to them! Y’all know who you are!

What crazy invention would you love to design? A teleporter linked to all major areas of Hopkins!

What do you hope to get involved in on campus? I hope to be involved in many organizations as well as participate in research! Some organizations that I have my eye on, are KPM (Korean Pop Motion), JHU Pet and Animal Welfare Club, and Circle K to name a few.

What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? Eat and Explore!
