How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply Early Decision? I discovered Hopkins through the alumni’s who visited our campus to talk about Hopkins! I decided to apply Early Decision because it was my top choice school and I really loved the opportunities that Hopkins provided to its students along with the collaborative spirit present.
What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? I am really excited to explore a new city! I have lived in the same city my entire life and haven’t gotten the opportunity to explore outside of Southern California much so moving to the East Coast and Baltimore is going to be such a different experience I would love to try!
What do you hope to get involved in on campus? I hope to get involved in clubs focusing on supporting women in engineering as a Girls Who Code alumni but be a also part of cultural bollywood fusion dance team.
What’s your best piece of college search advice for high school students? My best piece of college search advice is to find a college that fits you and makes you feel at home but also aligns with your future goals! I definitely paid a lot of attention to a schools values and programs when choosing to apply because I wanted to make sure I would find a home away from home.
What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? I am excited for being a part of the Hopkins community and getting to meet new people. Throughout my K-12 education I have always been around similar people so I am excited for this big chang and experience.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? (dream big!) I see myself working in R&D at a major engineering company and living with two dogs!
