Is there a quote or motto that inspires you? What is it and what does it mean to you? A quote that inspires me is “I stopped looking for the light and decided to become it instead.” This quote is motivating to me because it is a reminder to me that I am capable of accomplishing anything no matter how hard it must seem. How has your family background or life experiences shaped you? My family has always instilled dedication and perseverance into me. They inspire me to work hard every day of my life and to be the best version of myself. My life experiences have taught me to always remain positive and grateful for everything that I have. For instance, when I volunteered at Hackensack University Medical Center, I had to interact with patients who were in unfortunate situations. This taught me to appreciate everything that I have and it fueled my desire to want to give back and help others as much as I possibly can.

What crazy invention would you love to design? I would love to design an invention my friends and I once thought of. The invention is a necklace that serves as a way for people to contact local authorities when they are in a dangerous situation. Taking out your phone and attempting to call someone would take too long and it could be nearly impossible to do in an emergency. After a button in the necklace is pushed down for five seconds, this necklace would automatically contact local authorities, who will be given your exact location through a GPS tracking system implemented in the necklace.
