How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply? I first learned about Hopkins from my volunteer coordinator at the zoo (he’s an alumnus). When he told me about his unforgettable experience there and showed me his textbook on animal cognitive science, I knew that Johns Hopkins was the place I wanted to be.
What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? I’m excited to visit the aquarium and take nice pictures around the city.
What do you hope to get involved in on campus? I want to join the SGA, Sunrise Movement, and the Hopkins Figure Skating Club.
What’s your best piece of college search advice for high school students? Don’t sell yourself short. I almost didn’t apply to Hopkins because I didn’t think that I would get in but I’m so glad that I did!
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I see myself working on Capitol Hill and writing environmental legislation. I also hope that I can be a member of Team USA.
