How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply ED? I discovered Johns Hopkins because it is one of the most notable universities in the world and they prioritize their students and it’s just one big family between the students in faculty.

Is there a quote or motto that inspires you? What is it and what does it mean to you? A motto that my mother had taught me and I have learned to live my life with is “Positive thinking, positive outcome.” I constantly tell myself this daily and try to make sure I have a positive outlook on life to make sure I am healthy not only physically but also mentally. It has gotten me through a lot of hardships in my life and I hope on of you guys take that quote with you!

What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? I am most excited to explore all the interesting restaurants within the city of Baltimore and explore the diversity Baltimore has to offer.

What do you hope to get involved in on campus? I hope to get involved with the JHU Cheerleading team because I am a cheerleader now in my final year of high school, so I wish to continue that through my years at Johns Hopkins!

What’s your best piece of college search advice for high school students? My best piece of college search advice for high school students is to look for a school that goes with your needs and look for one where you feel like you will belong within their community and you’ll actually enjoy your time there.

What book, album/song, or TV show has had a profound influence on your life? A song that has had a profound influence in my life is Nights by Frank Ocean because it’s a song where I jam out to with my friends and it creates an amazing ambiance everywhere I go.
