How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply ED? I first heard about Hopkins when I joined JHU CTY! I visited Hopkins through this program and fell in love with the campus. I could see myself living there. It was also at a CTY neuroscience program when I discovered that I wanted to research and study the nervous system in college and for the rest of my life. With an exceptional neuroscience program and renowned professors, I knew Hopkins was the perfect place for me to continue my education. I am so excited to be a member of the Class of 2025!
What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? I have lived in a small town all of my life, so I am excited to move to a city and explore! I love food and cooking, so I definitely want to check out as many restaurants as possible.
What do you hope to get involved in on campus? I hope to join the intramural swim team and the ski and snowboard club at Hopkins! I also want to participate in research, specifically neuroscience research, and start answering all the questions I have about the nervous system.
What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? I am excited to be independent and live in a city! I also can’t wait to meet new people and learn from their experiences and views.
What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? (big or small!) Getting into Hopkins!!!
If you could get ice cream with one person (real or imaginary; dead or alive), who would it be and what kind of ice cream would you get? I would get ice cream with John Mulaney, my favorite comedian. I would order coffee ice cream, just like his dad ordered a coffee at McDonald’s!
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? (dream big!) I see myself at The Johns Hopkins Hospital completing my residency and on track to becoming a neurosurgeon!
