How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply ED? Through a TV show, after that scene, the only thought that popped was “I have to be there.” I applied ED because the early bird indeed gets the worm.
If you could teach one class at Hopkins, what would it be? (already exists or invented by you!) Ethics.
How has your family background or life experiences shaped you? I lost most of my family members to cancer. It never occurred to me that depression- could be induced. When cancer took a pivotal person in my childhood, my grandmother, life ceased … literally. She taught almost everything I know. Seeing how cancer has taken a lot from me, I plan on doing something about it.
What crazy invention would you love to design? Nerve to nerve communicator.
What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? The idea of meeting people of all sorts.
What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? (big or small!) Teaching a student to get an A in a math test.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? (dream big!) I see myself at WHO working on a cure for genetic mutation.
