How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply ED? I discovered Hopkins through the Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Connection newsletter. Fascinated by the latest research, neuroscience program, and vibrant community, I knew Hopkins was the place for me.
If you could teach one class at Hopkins, what would it be? (already exists or invented by you!) Topics in Music Cognition.
What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? I’m excited to explore the city and try new restaurants! A few places already on my list are: Golden West Cafe and Artifact Coffee.
What do you hope to get involved in on campus? I hope to get involved in the neuroscience research labs, pursue my passion for playing the violin in the Hopkins Orchestra, raise mental health awareness through APTT, and mentor younger students through the Tutorial Project.
What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? (big or small!) I am most proud of my journey in sharing mindfulness strategies and raising mental health awareness in the community. Collaborating with a diverse team, leading mindfulness workshops, starting a mental well-being advocacy club, and connecting with a global network of mental health advocates has been a valuable learning experience.
If you could get ice cream with one person (real or imaginary; dead or alive), who would it be and what kind of ice cream would you get? Mango ice cream with Kamala Harris.
