How did you discover Hopkins and why did you decide to apply ED? I discovered Hopkins through the news and research. I decided to apply ED because I believed that Hopkins was the right school for me. It has stellar undergraduate research, many opportunities in the economics and finance department, and a diverse community.

Who is the most influential person in your life and why? My dad is the most influential person in my life because he’s my role model that taught me about perseverance, dignity, and the importance of being a humble person.

Is there a quote or motto that inspires you? What is it and what does it mean to you? “Don’t stop when you are tired, stop when you are done.” -Marilyn Monroe. This quote inspires me to keep going and push forward. Even if something seems impossible, I should never stop until I have accomplished the impossible.

What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? I’m most excited to visit new places with new friends and to eat. I’ve only heard good things about the foods in Baltimore, so I’m looking forward to it.

What’s your best piece of college search advice for high school students? My best piece of college search advice is to simply think about what you want to accomplish, match colleges that fits your standards and goals, and never hesitate to apply to said colleges.

What book, album/song, or TV show has had a profound influence on your life? Naruto has had the most profound influence on my life because he taught me to never give up and to believe in myself.

What are you most excited for about college and/or coming to Hopkins? I’m most excited about meeting new people, making new friends, and being away from home (not that I don’t want to be home but I want to experience life on my own and explore new possibilities).
