Choosing to applying Early Decision was an easy choice for me to make because I knew I could thrive in a diverse collaborative environment where everyone is excited to learn! I can’t wait to start the next chapter of academic career and discover new perspectives as a Hopkins student!

Who is the most influential person in your life and why? My parents are definitely the biggest influential figures in my life! They have sacrificed so much for me by leaving their home country to move to the US to give me better opportunities. They are my biggest supporters, and I will always be proud to be their daughter.

What are you most excited to do in Baltimore? I am excited to explore the city, meet new people, and eat a bunch of delicious seafood!

What do you hope to get involved in on campus? Being a first-generation college student, I hope to get involved in the Matriculate program at JHU so I can empower other high-achieving low-income first-generation high school students as they go through the college application process.

What fictional character do you most relate to or most closely represents you as a person? I would say I most closely relate to Zenitsu from Demon Slayer since we can both be scaredy-cats at times, but we still try our hardest when we need to and strive to better ourselves!

If you could get ice cream with one person (real or imaginary; dead or alive), who would it be and what kind of ice cream would you get? I would get cookies and cream waffle cones with IU!
