What’s something you’ve discovered lately?
My friend recently introduced me to an awesome space show called Cosmos on Netflix. Now whenever I’m free I can’t stop watching it…at least it’s semi productive?
What do you do when you’re not studying?
When I’m not studying, I love exploring Baltimore. My favorite places to go are Fells Point and Mount Vernon. So many cool spots to hangout with friends. Also, I love checking out Baltimore’s eclectic mix of street art.
What’s a piece of advice that you would give to an incoming student?
If you get the chance, I would definitely study abroad. I studied in Copenhagen my junior year, and I would say it was one of my favorite life experiences. Also, take advantage of all of the different courses that are offered. If something is outside your comfort zone, but you are interested, I would definitely try it. College is one of the last times in your life you will get this opportunity.
Why did you come to Hopkins?
I am originally from California and I knew I wanted to study in the East Coast for college. Johns Hopkins’ renowned International Studies and Political Science programs are what first attracted me to the school. As soon as I visited, I fell in love with the beautiful architecture and greenery.
What’s your favorite memory since you’ve been at Hopkins?
One of my favorite memories is probably Phi Mu bid night my freshman year. I remember jumping up and down with these girls I barely knew. Now looking back, many of them are my best friends.
