Meet the singers behind the Christian a cappella club
Who are we?
We are Hopkins’ Christian a Cappella group! Established in 1995, we serve our campus through musical performances, spreading positive messages of love and hope throughout the community.
What do we do?
We rehearse twice a week for a total of 5 hours per week. During one weekly rehearsal, we set aside 30 minutes for worship, Bible study, and spiritual support. Every semester, we arrange, learn, and refine a set of 8 songs to perform at our Fall and Spring concerts, the annual Orientation Show, Family Weekend, Young Alumni Weekend, Arts for Ataxia, and more! The highlight of our year is an annual trip to a Boston-based conference, where we network and perform with 16 other Christian a Cappella groups from schools across the East Coast!

“I think the thing about Adoremus mentioned time and time again is that we’re a family – and that’s true, not because of who we are, but because we’re there for each other, especially during hard times. I don’t think I would have made it this far without the relationships I’ve made with each and every one of us, not only through singing but also in prayer, friendship, and family.”

“Adoremus is an insanely tight-knit group. I’m constantly talking to people who are shocked at how close we are, but we are truly a family that supports every member through hard times and successes. Joining Adoremus was the best decision of my freshman year and I couldn’t imagine my life without these friendships!”
