Favorite Hopkins Memory I spent a large portion of my undergraduate career working on an independent research project that would take the form of my senior honors history thesis and Woodrow Wilson Fellowship capstone. I got to present my work at the Wilson Poster Session, which was probably one of the most meaningful moments for me at JHU. Looking out into the audience as I shared my three years of research, I saw all my friends and family who had come out to support me. I’ll remember that forever.
What do you miss most about being a Hopkins student? I miss my classes. I know that’s probably a lame answer but I got an email the other day about this really cool new class this history department is offering about the history of women in film, and I was all psyched to sign up for it until I remembered I already graduated.
Knowing what you know now, what would you want to tell your pre-college self? I would tell me pre-college self not to spend so much time worrying that I couldn’t do something. I would stress that I wouldn’t be able to finish my thesis or get all my homework done or find an internship. I should have had more confidence in myself.
